March Madness 2013, Selection process of NCAA 68 teams, I'm quite confuse
March Madness 2013, Selection process of NCAA 68 teams, I'm quite confuse
Indiana, Gonzaga, Louisville, and Kansas are the top seeds in four brackets. The problem about the seedings is something it's difficult to understand if you are a beginner of understanding the selection of the 68 teams in the NCAA.
How in the the world the NCAA came up with the 68 teams? For example, Indiana Hoosiers didn't win the Big 10 yet they are No 1 in the East Regional? How did it happened? Only Louisville and Kansas who ended up winning their conferences that are No 1 seeds.
According to HowStuffWorks.com. There's the selection committee the overseas and selects the 68 teams which are according to ranking in the national polls, conference record, road record, wins vs ranked opponents, and the way a team finished its regular season.

How to watch Mayweather vs Guerrero boxing fight in the Philippines?
How to watch Mayweather vs Guerrero boxing fight in the Philippines?
Not a Manny Pacquiao fight. Are you going to watch the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Robert Guerrero fight?
Filipinos love boxing that even the times when Pacquiao was not a household or national name they watch boxing and enjoyed it. According to my uncles, they followed the fights of Hugler and Sugar Ray Leonard in the 80's. During those days few people owned televisions that a house was jampack coming from their neighbors to see the fight. Most of the televisions were black and white and yet they managed to love the fights.
Here comes the dominance of Mike Tyson in the heavyweight division. Back in those days told by my relatives, the feed was supposed to be live via satellite in the Mike Tyson vs Michael Sphinks fight in 1988. Though the telecast was too much delayed because of the 91 seconds knock out.
In the 90's there were already cable channels that brought boxing events in the country. Colored televisions were already available while almost of our countrymen have their own tv at home. Because few fights were promoted in a year, the Filipinos continued to follow sports.
Late 90's when Manny Pacquiao started to get notice. Thus, we were aware about him as he won fights that not only in the houses that it is being watched. Pacquiao brought awareness that boxing became a passion.
In a our town in Binalonan, Pangasinan, all the Pacquiao's fight were being watched at the Binalonan Gymnasium live in a big screen for free. Though if a group wanted to see it for themselves alone, they would be in the Rupertos Inland Resort.
The previous defeats of Pacquiao tamed the interest of Filipinos in the Mayweather and Guerrero fight. Most probably they will not be bothered to watch it. Because of the desire to see Mayweather, a possible opponent of Pacquiao in the future, they will hook up on their televisions just to see it.
How to watch Mayweather vs Guerrero boxing fight in the Philippines? Pay-per-view is already available in some of the major cities of the country. In Metro Manila, the cable providers have the capability to offer through PPV. Though SM provided the Pacquiao fights, I do not know if it is available in this Mayweather vs Guerrero boxing fight. One of the major local channels will certainly be the carrier of the fight, ABS-CBN, GMA, and TV5.

Honda Classic 2013 Leaderboard: Kevin Stadler in Early start
Kevin Stadler started strong to go 5-under par in the tournament and 2-under for today through the fourth hole. He birdied the first and third hole to tie with other competitors who haven't started yet in the second round.
Branden Grace, Graham Delaet, Ricky Fowler, Robert Streb were all tied in the first round at 5-under par. Not a surprising move from Stadler as he can seize the moment but the test will be in the next holes for him as the pressure intensifies.
The 2012 Honda Classic champion Rory McIlroy is just even in the first round and he is expected to do some damage for him not to miss the cut but also to make the move necessary to win again.
Plenty of players are tied at 4-under par in the first round. It will be easy for the Honda Classic leaderboard to have many changes on top.
Here is the current top 16 in the Honda Classic leaderboard 2013:

Daytona 500: Danica Patrick will win?
Daytona 500: Danica Patrick will win?
Improbable. Impossible. Against all odds. Whatever that words that can describe how will Danica Patrick subdue his opponents in the Daytona 500 which is about to start.
The face of Godaddy.com will have to do have an extraordinary day to grab the prestigious title. Yes, it is historic that she will be the first in the pole of drivers. Patrick knows that it is a long shot for her to win it all that everything is possible.
The fact that she became the first woman to lead in the 2005 in the Indy 500, it is clear in her mind that she can do that also in the Daytona 500. A woman in the midst of a man's game will be just exciting that it transfix the minds and even eyes of the spectators.
Patrick will be the apple of the eye of millions of people that will ever watch Daytona 500. Her name will be probably mentioned more than her competitors. However, her name will be etched in the Daytona 500 history if she will pull the miracle.
I am for Danica Patrick to muscle up against other drivers.

Petron vs Ginebra: Results, Highlights, Balkman was tough
Renato Balkman delivered a magnificent performance by having 34 points and 10 rebounds to help the Petron Blaze Boosters to defeat Barangay Ginebra, 105-90, Sunday night.
Balkman showed his ability to leap as he drilled in several dunks to derail the defense of Ginebra. He also had two blocks to intensify the defense of the Blaze Boosters as Ginebra couldn't find ways to stay close before the fourth quarter.
Petron Blaze never looked back after the third quarter when they posted a 86-63 lead that put the dagger when Joseph Yeo scored a triple at the buzzer. It was a big lead for Petron that Ginebra couldn't get back into as they tried to cut that deficit into 13. However, Barangay Ginebra were running out of time to complete a rally as the Boosters stood hard not to give up the advantage.
Mark Caguioa scored 24 points for Barangay Ginebra while Tenorio had 19 points. It was difficult for Ginebra to get back into the game because of the tight defense of Petron. Though Ginebra tried their best in scoring, still it was not enough. Fajardo was consistent in the game scoring 18 points.
Adding up to the offense of Petron was Washington who scored 14 points. Because of Ginebra's loss, the team is in a deep hole with a 0-3 start. Meanwhile, Petron continues to be one of the favorites in this conference.
Yes, PBA will always be dramatic with Barangay Ginebra catching up in the future, but this game was totally dominated by Petron.

Super Bowl 2013: How the Ravens withstand 49ers rally?
Just Super Bowl afterthoughts. One of the best Super Bowl games in the last ten years as the Baltimore Ravens defeated San Francisco 49ers, 34-31. Yes, the Ravens realized the dream that they had and that they reached it.
Why the Ravens won?
1. Offense - To have a scintillating 21-6 half-time lead, the Ravens showed that they have the offense that was overlooked by their previous opponents like the Colts, Broncos, and Patriots.
2. Jacoby Jones - What about that 56 yard touchdown acrobatic reception in the second quarter and the 108 yard kick off return? Many believed that Jones should have been the Super Bowl MVP. He altered the ocomplexion of the game and that the Ravens seemed put the dagger.
3. Joe Flacco - He was poised especially that third-and-1 play pass to Anquan Boldin that ended into a field goal with 4:19 left to have the lead 34-29.
4. Baltimore Defense- When the Ravens needed the stop against the raging offense of the 49ers, they did it. Stopping the 49ers from scoring in their five yard line was the decisive possession.
5. John Harbaugh - He made the call for a safety with 11 seconds remaining instead of a kick off return to kill the time.
