March Madness 2013, Selection process of NCAA 68 teams, I'm quite confuse
March Madness 2013, Selection process of NCAA 68 teams, I'm quite confuse Indiana, Gonzaga, Louisville, and Kansas are the top seeds in four brackets. The problem about the seedings is something it's difficult to understand if you are a beginner of understanding the selection of the 68 teams in the NCAA. How in the the world the NCAA came up with the 68 teams? For example, Indiana Hoosiers didn't win the Big 10 yet they are No 1 in the East Regional? How did it happened? Only Louisville and Kansas who ended up winning their conferences that are No 1 seeds. According to HowStuffWorks.com. There's the selection committee the overseas and selects the 68 teams which are according to ranking in the national polls, conference record, road record, wins vs ranked opponents, and the way a team finished its regular season.
